Background
Launch of a new patented procedure in Nordics with social media campaign
Aesthetic cosmetology allows women to look and feel younger. Industry demonstrates double digit growth globally and in the Nordics. Yet, there are many myths and stereotypes about treatments and specific procedures. Barriers relate to injections, unnatural looks, deformation of facial expressions as a result of treatment. Primary focus for the brand NNEsthetics was to develop communication in social media to overcome existing barriers.
Solution offered to one of the largest aesthetic cosmetology clinics in Finland was to explore the barriers and drivers with prejudiced consumers with proprietary Heatlab® methodology for social media communication development. We also talked with opinion leaders in Nordics to understand how we can to counter popular myths in the aesthetic cosmetology to come up with a specific messages for Nordic countries.
